big butts are still in demand
despite what you may have heard
Good morning and welcome back to as seen on.
Long newsletter today; lots to talk about: media stuff, fashion stuff, CPG stuff, celeb brands stuff, tech stuff, art world stuff, and Ali Earle/Alex Cooper beef.
ENJOY!
Cosmopolitan is running OOH campaigns in New York for Valentine’s Day. According to Willa Bennett, Cosmo invited the holiday. This is fun. Immediately going on Whitney Wolfe Herd’s vision board.

Emily Gould wrote an essay for The Cut about how she quit holding a grudge against Lena Dunham. It’s a less unhinged version of that Annie Hamilton one about Tavi Gevinson. Both are must reads for all the girls who struggle with professional jealousy, AKA all the girls who create online!
System published a really good interview with Line Sheet’s Lauren Sherman. Lots of great insights on fashion, media, power, and gossip. “When I was about 27, I remember having lunch with a woman named Bonnie Morrison, who has been a publicist, worked at Men’s Vogue, and is a great writer and very New York. She said, ‘Don’t wake up when you’re 35 and only be friends with fashion people.’ I really took it to heart.” Apparently, everyone wants to produce a movie or TV show about the Arnault succession. There are several books being written.
