Good morning and welcome back to as seen on.

I hope you all had a great weekend. I did. Last week, I spoke about how brands can keep up with Gen Z on a panel for Snap Forward, met some amazing people including

Eugene Healey
,
Frankly Speaking
, and , and learned about two very cool brands launching on Substack in the next few months. If you’re a brand looking to do the same, hit me up. I have thoughts.

In today’s newsletter: Blake Lively wants in on the fragrance boom; Drunk Elephant’s Q1 sales declined 65%; a guide to Substack etiquette; the new skincare line selling sex; and a bunch of other stuff.

Enjoy!

  • Celebrities really want that HBS photo op. Harvard Business School student clubs are being inundated with requests from influencers and celebrities to land speaking spots, making it almost as hard to land an invite as it is to get into the program. “Not only is it really easy to get speakers,” said the VP of speakers for the Retail and Luxury Goods Club, “we’re turning down a lot.” Hope this trend lasts a little longer. Love seeing an offbeat girlboss in a pantsuit.

  • Meanwhile, AirMail reported that elite college grads are trading desk jobs for the blue-collar path. I’m here to tell you that this is barely a thing. Kids are going WWOOF-ing for a year or two (or however long their trust fund lets them), and then heading over to Wall Street.

  • Players, the new Roitfeld led sports-fashion magazine, looks incredible. The first issue hits stands early June and will be guest-edited by Dwyane Wade, with 10 cover models including Cameron Brink, Jalen Green, Spike Lee, Jordan Clarkson, and Giorgio Armani. Players is positioning itself as the new playbook for sports and fashion, which as we know, is a great place to be right now. The publication launched a limited edition fanzine with New York Liberty at their game this weekend.
