Not sure that people want their everyday products to be fragranced. If anything, more people want fragrance-free products so they don’t clash with their $300 Byredo/Baccarat/DS & Durga scents.
It’s a lot! But, I kind of get the allure of the fragrance explosion - it’s kind of like self care, at least for me - and its impact on mood is astounding. The crazy expense of it all is another story. But the more expensive fragrances, IMO, are usually much better quality and last way longer than the mass-market ones.
Okay kind of hype about the new activewear lines, even though it seems like yet another activewear brand is the last thing the world needs. But as a Pilates girlie with a toddler (ie. I’m in activewear A LOT) I really crave exquisite work out gear that still makes me feel feminine and beautiful. So much of it is so fugly it’s offensive 😂 Maybe with more brands cropping up focused on aesthetics it’ll flow down more so I don’t spend so long sniffing out pieces more on the chic side.
It's only me, or are others perplexed too when restaurant chains close down and write in their explanations incl. something like "there had been an incredible response" which sounds like a in demand success, but hey just like Kevin Hart, they closed down, what a paradox...our times, strange indeed. Not sure if it suits, but it was somewhere noted that Michelin stared restaurants are truly in demand leading to closures of affordable casual restaurants, but more upscale restaurants fill their reservation books, maybe it's about curation of where and when to eat, money we'll spread and spend on meaning than everyday eating towards "event eating" 🤔🤓😍😋💯
also ding it confusing. it couldn't have been going that well could it? if people are going out to eat, they probably want to sped their money where they know they'll really enjoy it. and people that regularly go to upscale restaurants are probably not feeling the pinch the way middle and lower class consumers are
True, totally confusing but a trope used quite often these days, can't they simply tell the operational truth why they close down their ventures and move on, certainly to believe that a restaurant chain or other chains, individual retailers for that matter call themselves favoured by consumers borders on marketing spin madness imho, oh in regards of struggling consumers see especially the trading results of dollar stores including Dollar General, Dollar Tree or Family Dollar etc they all reported disappointing revenues and shrinking profits all the while recognising that their consumer base are struggling with their finances, plus a big yes, eating out for upscale and luxury consumer remains definitely within reach, maybe for lower scale consumers less so, cheers & thanks, be well 🤓😍📚🔖💯
I also find this so confusing. Like "there was incredible demand". But then why did it close? Also totally agree with you on eating out turning into an event and not a regular occurence hence the search for more high end experiences.
AirMilkshake is this really fun gifting suite! a.) agreed. b.) can you say more about this? never drawn a connection before but something just went off in my brain c.) seeing those families together made me realise how different they actually are. because I could never see Nara or lucky on a farm. and they've said they're done with kids
okay so this IS kourtney….. bahahahaha i see these ads plastered all over the streets in lower manhattan and i’m like noo that can’t be kourtney kardashian. but it is…

something I really need to talk about. it's all getting quite much isn't it?

Best subject line I’ve seen in a while
I have so many thoughts on the supplement business. this one is especially blatant and disturbing.
kourtney is really on some BS. Its actually disgraceful
Never even heard of Air Milkshake before. So many thoughts...
a) that's a ludicrous price for a deodorant
b) the ozempic era in fashion is so much worst than the 'heroin chic' one
c) what the hell did lucky blue and daniel neelman talk about? they are so not the same vibe
AirMilkshake is this really fun gifting suite! a.) agreed. b.) can you say more about this? never drawn a connection before but something just went off in my brain c.) seeing those families together made me realise how different they actually are. because I could never see Nara or lucky on a farm. and they've said they're done with kids
Thanks - I signed up for the Zeen waitlist & Kardashian Ozempic 😭 you got me again w the title! Ha
